What is this event about?

Cybersecurity meetup is a networking event created to bring together infosec professionals. Come for the intimate networking areas or the food and drink, the Cybersecurity Meetup 2023 has something for everyone. With fantastic food, a live DJ, as well as live music & entertainment, this is a night you won’t want to miss.

Where and when is the Meetup?

The meetup will take place on January 31st, 2023 following CISO Forum Canada, with doors opening at 4 PM.

The venue is Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel & Suites located on 600 Hwy 7, Richmond Hill, ON L4B 1B2. Please enter through the conference centre doors.

Can I join virtually?

Will there be trade show booths/exhibit areas?

CISO Forum Canada 2023 is taking place on January 30th and 31st at the same venue as Cybersecurity Meetup 2023. The exhibit booths will close at the end of the conference meaning there will be no access at Cybersecurity Meetup. To learn more about CISO Forum Canada please click here!

Do I need a physical ticket/how do I check-in?

Simply purchase your ticket on siberx.org, and once you arrive at the event, have your photo ID ready to show the check-in desk.

What is your Code of Conduct?

How do I get a ticket?

You can purchase tickets here.

What if I want to cancel, refund my ticket?

There are no returns, refunds, or exchanges. Should the event you have purchased tickets for be cancelled, you will be refunded the amount you paid for your tickets (minus order processing, service and delivery fees) using the same payment method used for purchase. If the event you purchased tickets for is postponed, we will contact you with the new date and time. Event personnel have the right to refuse entry to any ticket holder for any reason at their discretion. Venue and Talent are subject to change without notice and are not grounds for a refund.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

What is the difference between a Regular vs Premium ticket?

A premium ticket includes all the perks of a regular ticket, with the added bonus of an unlimited alcoholic beverages wristband.

Will you be checking IDs?

ID will be confirmed upon check-in. If you have purchased a premium ticket and are under the legal drinking age, your ticket will be converted to a regular ticket with no refund options.

There is ample free parking in the venue parking lot.

What if I am drinking?

Uber and Lyft are readily available in the area. A local taxi service number will also be available at the check-in desk if you require any assistance getting home.

Toronto Pearson Airport is the closest major airport, with Billy Bishop Airport also nearby for shorter flights.
