Vikas is a Partner at PwC Mauritius and leads the Cybersecurity & Privacy and Digital practice. He has more than 18 years of experience working in Financial Services, Retail, Hospitality, Telecommunication and Public Sector. He is passionate about the success of his clients, while demonstrating ongoing leadership and commitment to excellence. He also leads the Cybersecurity & Privacy practice for Africa and works closely with clients as Virtual -Chief Information Security Officer (V-CISO) to help them build cyber resilient business.
Vikas intuitively understands how to harness the power of people to make big things happen, whether it’s through digital disruption; developing security strategies to overcome cyber risks or guiding organisations to build business resilience. He collaborates with Boards, Risk committees and C-suite executives to create sustainable value for the business and build confidence in their digital future.
He holds Master’s in Computer Science and Post Graduate in Advanced Computing. His passion towards the cybersecurity field has led him to achieve professional qualification such as Certified Chief Information Security Officer(CISO), Certified Information Security Auditor(CISA), ISACA, Certified Business Continuity Professional(BCP)-ISO22301, Certified Digital Forensic Investigation Professional(C-DFIP), Certified Information System Security Professional(CISSP) and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
