I am a Cyber Security professional with experience across diverse industries including Banking, Fintech, Oil & Energy, and Pharmaceutical. Currently a BISO with one of Canada’s top financial institutions and over 14 years of working experience with unwavering integrity. Specifically, 3 years of cybersecurity management and leadership, 9 years of risk and cybersecurity & compliance, and 2 years in IT Service management. I hold a master’s degree in information security with distinction from the University of Salford, UK and first degree with First class honors in Computer Science and Technology from Bowen University. I hold several cyber security professional certifications such as CRISC, CCSP, CISSP, CCISO, and ISO27001 LI. Recently awarded one of Canada’s Top 20 women in Cybersecurity. I consider myself a rare cybersecurity professional because of my combination of technical skills, business acumen and ability to engage senior leaders on cybersecurity matters.
