Riaz manages the Broadband Program at the Region of Durham where he leads interdepartmental and cross-agency teams to bring faster, more reliable, and affordable broadband across all of Durham.
Previously, he spent a decade with one of the fastest-growing telecom companies globally where he held leadership roles in engineering, product development, and solution architecture.
He has designed and implemented several connected real-estate, smart-city, and e-government infrastructures.
Riaz has an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Master of Engineering from Dalhousie University.
