Reid joined IBM in 2011 as a senior sales executive focused on selling all of IBM’s software products. In 2016 Reid moved into IBM Security with a focus on selling IBM Security’s multiplicity of software products (23 acquisitions over 20 years). Reid enjoyed terrific success selling QRadar to over 60% of the accounts in his assigned territories. In 2021 Reid was promoted to a Canada-wide role where he mentors 19 sellers on how to position the EDR, SIEM, SOAR and ASM products in IBM Security’s Threat Management Portfolio.
