Rana Abusidu is an Information Security and Data Privacy Consultant at Protiviti Middle East. She is a digital influencer and an entrepreneur who believes that innovation is the key to organizational success.
She is a founder of a startup The Cook Geeks, a food edtech platform for children, and has joined as a chief influencer at iSimplify Presentations, a boutique consulting agency, to create impactful presentations and empower people to simplify them.
Rana believes in the power of a good education and that everyone should have the opportunity to learn. She volunteered for an education project for children in the Middle East and was one of the earlier volunteers in Madrasa platform.
Rana is a mentor for startups in the MENA region, supporting them in their business development approaches and frameworks.
Rana holds a Master degree in IT Management from the University of Wollongong in Dubai. She is a trainer and a public speaker. She has provided several training sessions on business resilience and continuity, Data Privacy, and addressing the quality of Information security to key clients in the UAE market. Rana is a Lead Auditor in ISO27001 and certified by IBM in the Predictive Analytics Modeler.
