Rachel is a seasoned Information Security leader with nearly two decades in the financial services sector. Her roles at Scotiabank, CIBC, the Ontario Pension Board, and currently at Manulife have included positions in leadership, security governance and operations. She volunteers time on the CIO Strategy Council advisory committees which supports the creation of national technical standards for Canada, and sits on the advisory council of York University’s Cloud Computing Strategy program. Rachel holds the CISSP and CISM designations, a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Toronto and a diploma in computer programming from Centennial College.
