Mounir Kamal

Mounir Kamal is a highly accomplished Information Security Professional qualified by 20+ years of experience in multiple industries. Currently, Mounir is an information Security Expert at National CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team). He helped to launch and then manage the state-of-the-art digital forensics lab on behalf of the Supreme Council of Information and Communications Technology and developed a program for Botnet eradication on a national level and Botnet investigation training workshop.

Mounir’s academic credentials include a Master Science of information Security from Royal Holloway University and a B.Sc. degree in Electronics Engineering. Mounir a CISSP – ISC2 | GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence – GCTI | GIAC Certified Forensics Analyst – GCFA | GOLD GIAC GICSP – SANS GIAC | SABSA SCF – SABSA Institution | Certified Security Incident Handler (CSIH) |Certified Reverse Engineering Analyst (CREA) | Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) |Certified Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI).

Mounir is a lecturer at conferences like ITU, Annual Honeynet Workshop, FIRST, ISC-ISAC, and Arab Security Conference. Additionally, Mounir conducting Incident handling and digital forensics training course for most security agents and team on a national level, and voluntary in the FIRST incident handling the course.
