Maryam Jafari Lafti, Director (PhD, CISSP, GCTI) – Deloitte Canada, Risk Advisory
Maryam is a Director in Deloitte’s Cyber Risk practice. She currently oversees the delivery of a range of threat management services to Canadian organizations with a focus on those in the consumer and retail industries. During her tenure at Deloitte, Maryam played a key role in establishing and shaping the firm’s Global Cyber Threat Intelligence Centre of Excellence, its capabilities, services and products. She served in a range of roles combining strategic and technical leadership and expertise in Canada and globally. Maryam also has extensive experience in security operations, managed security services, cyber product R&D and innovation. She currently serves as an Innovation Culture Champion for Deloitte’s Risk Advisory practice and co-leads the firm’s Women in Cyber and Cyber Futures initiatives.
Maryam holds a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering. Her academic research focused on decentralized identity and trust management.
