Kush Sharma is the Director Municipal Modernization & Partnerships at MISA Ontario. Prior to this, he was the acting CISO for CP Rail, inaugural CIO for Aptitude 360 and inaugural CISO for the City of Toronto where he built the cyber organization from the ground-up. Kush was a cybersecurity consultant with Deloitte and Accenture and owns a boutique cybersecurity advisory firm specializing in M&A, Digital Transformation, and Municipal cybersecurity. He also sits on the National CISO Committee on Information Protection (NCCIP) for Canada. Kush is an award-winning executive, speaker, author, advisory board member with over two decades of private and public sector experience across six industries.
