Kumiko is an educator at heart. As Director of Education at Hackergal, a Canadian registered charity striving to close the gender gap in tech, she oversees the strategy and delivery of Hackergal’s nationwide Hackathon Program. Kumiko has taught in Ontario as well as abroad for 7 years living in Macau, Hong Kong, and Shanghai. She has found her purpose and passion making computer science education more accessible and approachable and championing young women to succeed in their future endeavours across all industries.
