Karen Freeman, Security Intelligence Release Manager | Program Manager
Karen provides support to QRadar development teams and stakeholders throughout the SDLC, accomplishing end-to-end release processes, and ensuring its offerings adhere to all IBM compliance standards.
Born and raised in Atlantic Canada, Karen has gained work experience in both the public and private sector over the last ten years within various industries such as Healthcare, Social Media, and Security Intelligence. She received an MBA from the University of New Brunswick with a focus in Marketing and Bachelor degree in Cultural Anthropology.
Karen has developed a strong sense of devotion for her community’s Celtic roots through Arts & Culture by volunteering time over the last few years to the New Brunswick Highland Games Festival and providing pipe band drumming lessons within the Fredericton Society of St Andrew Pipe Band’s Academy programme. These experiences have given her a deep appreciation how non-profits operate and give back to the local community.
