Juan Araya is a certified pentester and cybersecurity specialist with 18 years of experience in IT and 9 years leading cybersecurity teams. He is Comptia project+, Security+, CySA+ and Pentest+ certified. He is also certified as a network security specialist by Fortinet and has a master degree in Cybersecurity. He has a strong technical background with cloud security solutions designed to mitigate layer 7 and DDoS attacks.
Juan is from Costa Rica. He relocated to Spain in 2019 to continue growing as a cybersecurity specialist. He participated as a speaker in several international cybersecurity conferences such as Navaja Negra 2019, SICSOH 2019, Bsides Panama 2020 and OpenExpoEuropa 2020. He used to work for Akamai and is now working for Tata Consultancy Services in Spain as Cloud Security lead.
