Founder and CEO of Digiware, a managed security services provider with offers ranging from detection to contain and prediction to defend. He is an innovator and trendsetter in the high-tech security industry in Latin America, with more than twenty-five (25) years of experience working in the information security field. In 1996, he launched Digiware, which pioneered the security market and was one of the market share leaders in the Latin-American Region.
John also co-founded IT Applications Consulting (ITAC) in 2004, creating the industry’s first player in the region focused on implementing effectively strategies based on the Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) concept. ITAC now helps companies to implement efficient SecDevOps methodologies.
He has been member of important Advisory Boards of IT and Security Companies, such as (ISC)²1, HP Enterprise (now Microfocus), Imperva, Sourcefire (now part of Cisco). Also, has been Board member of companies in the IT industry and Recycling IT Business. In 2018, he has been recognized as one of the Colombian Leaders from the private sector by Magazine “La Nota Economica”
