Jana started her career in cybersecurity about a decade ago. Coming from the software development world, she entered the world of cybersecurity through the offensive side of the industry. Jana specialized in vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and red-team exercises. Throughout the years, Jana gradually transitioned into the defensive side of the industry, helping small and midsize businesses respond to a cyber breach and recover from the attack with minimal operational and financial impact. Presently she is focusing on incident response and digital forensics initiatives while working with her team to build and improve ORNA’s cyber incident response and tabletop simulation (TTX) platform. Jana is a member of the CTI League (https://cti-league.com/) and actively works with local non-profit and charity organizations to provide guidance and education and assist with the implementation of best cybersecurity practices.
