Brent Thomas is a recognized cybersecurity leader with two decades of experience in building and running cybersecurity teams and programs. He is currently the CISO and Director, Technology Modernization at Traffic Tech a leading third-party logistics company. Prior to this, he was most recently with Great Canadian Entertainment as a VP, Information Security & Compliance and the AVP, Cyber Security Delivery at Canadian Tire Corporation. Brent has a proven ability to solve complex business problems and lead people in the midst of growth and change. He is qualified in cybersecurity, traditional risk management, and enterprise risk management disciplines through formal education, experience, and recognized designations. He has worked throughout the Americas and Europe across several industry verticals. Brent is also a strategic advisor to Humint Careers, a company focused on the development and grown cybersecurity leadership ecosystem in Canada.
