Balinder Rai is Business Development Team Lead at OCI, helping to support the commercialization of academic intellectual property (IP), industry-academic collaborations and the development and adoption of emerging technologies.
Balinder has more than 20 years public and private sector experience, and prior to joining OCI, held positions in corporate services and business development in the water sector. Balinder works with innovative start-ups and SMEs across a range of sectors including environment, energy, ICT, manufacturing, fintech, and medtech. Balinder holds an MA from the University of Toronto.
