Al Timchuk joined VMware in April 2020, and is responsible for VMware Canada Security sales, customer engagement and go to market strategy, as well as, overseeing channels, system engineers and partner relationships.
Previous 3 years, Timchuk held the role of COO for the Americas at DELL EMC Technologies Modern Data Center team, in addition, he was also the Global executive responsible for sales programs and customer engagements worldwide.
Before DELL EMC Technologies Timchuk was Director of Sales for Government markets at SAS Canada for over 5 years. Prior, he had an 11-year tenure at EMC Corporation where he was responsible for sales and go-to-market strategy in Canada for Government markets along with Commercial and Enterprise business in Eastern Canada.
Furthermore, Timchuk held senior sales and contract management roles at Compaq Canada and Patriot Computers and is a former board member of ITAC.
Timchuk studied Industrial Design at Carleton University and is obsessed with leveraging his creativity and transformational technology expertise in understanding and resolving the customers business challenges.
