Description:
We are seeking a motivated and creative AV and Design Production Assistant Co-op to join our team. As an AV and Design Production Assistant Co-op, you will work closely with our marketing and events team to develop and produce multimedia content for our events and programs. You will be responsible for creating engaging videos, animations, graphics, and other multimedia materials. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for cybersecurity and a strong design and multimedia background.
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging multimedia content such as videos, animations, graphics, and presentations
- Edit and enhance existing multimedia content to improve its quality and appeal
- Collaborate with the marketing and events team to ensure the production of high-quality content that aligns with SiberX brand guidelines
- Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of audiovisual equipment for events
- Assist in managing SiberX’s social media channels, including creating and posting engaging content
- Provide support to the marketing and events team as needed
Requirements:
- Enthusiasm to learn and grow
- Enrolled in a multimedia design, graphic design, marketing, or related program at a recognized post-secondary institution
- Proficient in design and multimedia software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory
- Basic knowledge of audiovisual equipment and operations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for cybersecurity and interest in learning new technologies
