Arlene didn’t follow the “normal” path into cybersecurity.
She began her career in public relations then mastered her craft in IT risk management and web operations. In late 2018, Arlene took a leap of faith and pursued, with fervent passion, a mid-career reinvention to specialize in cybersecurity.
Today, she is an award-winning cyber risk, crisis and resilience expert, national cyber security assistant instructor, mentor and author of K-12 educational textbooks and non-fiction reference titles.
Fun fact: Arlene is an experienced all-season hiker and explorer of the majestic Rocky Mountains achieving one summit after another – through fear of heights and all.
